Sam started working at Flowers Unique in 2004 and bought the business in 2016 - having sold her house in order to do so.
Samantha is passionate about creating beautiful, handcrafted bouquets and flower arrangements that are vibrant, exceptional, eye-catching and have an extra special wow-factor about them. She also prides herself on being able to do this for clients with any budget.
Wherever possible Sam purchases stock from independent growers and suppliers in order to make unique, and sometimes quirky, handmade gifts and decorations that are designed to suit the local community in Chalfont St Peter and can also be tailored to the individual needs of her customers.
Sam & Mark have been friends since childhood when they were husband & wife in the school play, Joseph & the Technicolour Dream Coat, aged 8. Mark played Joseph's brother.
Previously a chef, Mark joined Samantha to run Flowers Unique when they sold their house in order to take over the business in 2016.
Mark's understanding of fresh produce and knowledge of stock management from the catering industry has enabled the husband and wife team to cope well with what's needed to run a successful floristry business - and Sam is relieved that Mark has transitioned well from food to flowers.
